Information:-The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun invites application for Walk-in-interview for
engaging Project Ecologist (one) for the Consultancy Project entitled “Study on Blackbuck movements in and around Kaimur Wildlife Sanctuary including Reserved Forests of Mirzapur and Sonbhadra districts of Uttar Pradesh in respect of proposed coal based Thermal Power” purely on contractual basis for a period of six months. Emoluments:- Rs. 35,000 (Consolidated) per month
Essential Qualification (EQ): – Masters’ Degree in Life Sciences/WildlifeSciences/Forestry/Environmental Sciences from a recognized university and should have six months experience in Wildlife Surveys.
Desirable Qualification (DQ):-Preference will be given to candidates having working experience in wildlife assessment and Survey
Jobs description:-Required to undertake Blackbuck Survey in U.P., quantity vegetation & other habitat parameters, Writing a report
Age:-Shall is not more than 35 years on the date of interview. Age relaxation: The upper age limit may be relaxed up
to 5 years as per Government of India rules.
How to apply:- 1. The candidate should report by 0930 hrs for scrutiny of documents on 6th August 2018 followed by an Interview on the same day at 1100 hrs. The Institute will not provide accommodation for candidates appearing for the interview.
2. Candidates should bring the duly filled-in application with attested true copies of testimonials of educational qualifications research experience, along with a certificate of extracurricular activities, date of birth, mark sheets of all examinations etc. All original documents/certificates must be produced at the time of registration for necessary verification.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
