Information:-The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun invites application for Walk-in-interview
for engaging ‘UGC-JRF’ or ‘CSIR-UGC-JRF’ qualified ‘Junior Research Fellow’ for Project entitled “Wildlife Forensic and Conservation Genetics (WFCG) Cell”. The EQ, DQ and other details of the position are as provided below :

Emoluments:- As provided by UGC or CSIR
Essential Qualification (EQ): – 1. Minimum 55% marks in M.Sc. Biotechnology or Forensic Science. The Other Backward Classes(OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer/Scheduled Caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/ persons with disability (PWD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in M.Sc. Biotechnology or Forensic Science are eligible for joining JRF.
2. Candidate should have a valid UGC-JRF or CSIRUGC-JRF fellowship
Desirable Qualification (DQ):-Preference will be given to the candidate having working knowledge in the Genetic or Forensic laboratory
Jobs description:-To pursue research in the field of ‘Wildlife Forensics’ and to assist in the ongoing activities of WFCG Cell of the institute
Age:-28 years (upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules)
How to apply:-1. The candidate should report by 0930 hrs for scrutiny of documents on 14th August 2018, followed by an Interview on the same day at 1100 hrs. The Institute will not provide accommodation for candidates appearing for the interview.
2. Candidates should bring the duly filled-in application with attested true copies of testimonials of educational qualifications along with a valid certificate of UGC-JRF/ CSIR-JRF, extracurricular activities; date of birth, mark sheets of all examinations etc. All original documents/certificates must be produced at the time of registration for walk-in-interview for the verification.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
4. The application form can be downloaded from the Institute’s website www.wii.gov.in The Director WII, reserves the right to reject any candidature in view of the incomplete information provided by the candidate or for any other reason thereof.
