Pay scale ( वेतन ) : Rs. 25,000/- per month
Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : a) Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Development, Child Development, Home Science, Nutrition with atleast a Second Division. b)Proficiency in English c) Proficiency in use of Computer software, Internet, M.S. Word, M.S. Excel , M.S. Power Point etc. d) Minimum Two years’ work experience in the fields of Women & Child Development including, data collection from field, preparation of tables, graphs etc. data analysis & drafting of reports etc.,
Desirable qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता ) : (i) Working knowledge of one or more South Indian languages such as Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam & Hindi to be assigned to Research Projects as per suitability and requirements of the Project. ii) Exposure to Flagship programmes of Government relating to Women and Children
Age limit ( आयु सीमा ) : 35 years

National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development, popularly known as NIPCCD, is a premier organisation devoted to promotion of voluntary action research, training and documentation in the overall domain of women and child development. Established in New Delhi in the year 1966 under Societies Registration Act of 1860, it functions under the aegis of the Ministry of Women and Child Development. In order to cater to the region-specific requirements of the country, the Institute, over a period of time, has established four Regional Centres at Guwahati (1978), Bangalore (1980), Lucknow (1982) and Indore (2001). The Institute functions as an apex institution for training functionaries of the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) programme. It has also been designated, by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, the nodal institution for imparting training on two important issues of Child Rights and Prevention of trafficking of women children for SAARC countries. Institute’s expertise and performance was recognized by UNICEF in 1985 when it awarded the Maurice Pate Award for its outstanding contribution in the field of Child Development.
