Pay scale ( वेतन ) : Rs.16000/- (Consolidated and fixed for NET qualified candidates) Rs.14000/- (Consolidated and fixed for Non-Net)
Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : Master’s Degree in any subject preferably in Education/ Social Science/Languages/Women’s Studies/ Gender Studies, with at least 55% marks or equivalent for general category (50% marks or equivalent for SC/ST/PH)
Desirable qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता ) : Experience in report/academic writing Fluency in English & Hindi and Computer Typing NET qualified from UGC, however, Non NET candidate may also apply.
Desired skills ( वांछित कौशल ) : should be able to work on computer in English and Hindi

How to apply ( आवेदन कैसे करे ) : The interested candidates who fulfill the above conditions may attend the interview on 20-02-2017 at 10.45 a.m. in Department of Gender Studies at Room No.1, Fifth Floor, Zakir Hussain Block, NCERT, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi – 110016 with their application along-with copy of certificates and other relevant documents including passport size photograph. They are also requested to bring their original certificates for verification.
General instructions ( सामान्य निर्देश ) : 1- It is the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility conditions in terms of Educational qualification and experience etc. 2- Fellowship is purely on temporary basis. 3- Candidates who are already in job should get their applications forwarded through their employers and /or come with a “No Objection Certificate”. 4- The Project Fellows who have already worked in the Council for 2 Years need not apply. 5- Candidates should bring their original certificates at the time of interview. 6- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. 7- The selected candidate may be required to join immediately.

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT, Hindi: राष्ट्रीय शैक्षिक अनुसंधान और प्रशिक्षण परिषद), established in 1961, is an organisation set up by the Government of India, with headquarters located at Sri Aurbindo Marg in New Delhi, to assist and advise the central and state governments on academic matters related to school education. Dr Hrushikesh Senapathy was official appointed as new Director of NCERT in September 2015. The Government of India’s Ministry of Education resolved on 27 July 1961 to establish the National Council of Educational Research and Training, which formally began its operation on 1 September 1961.
