MPHC Assistant & Stenographer Exam Syllabus 2021

Madhya Pradesh High Court (MPHC) has released Exam Syllabus for Assistant & Stenographer (Grade II & III)

The Board will conduct this exam in two stages.

  1. Preliminary Exam
  2. Mains Exam

For Preliminary Exam, Total 100 questions will be set against 100 marks. Candidates will get 2 hours to attempt all these questions. Examination will be held on CBT (Computer Based Test)

Prelims Syllabus

Mathematics & Reasoning 20 questions 20 marks
General Knowledge & General Science 30 questions 30 marks
General Hindi 10 questions 10 marks
English Language 20 questions 20 marks
Computer Knowledge 20 questions 20 marks

After Clearing Preliminary Exam, Candidates will be Called for Mains Exam. One third (1:3) Candidates will be listed for Mains Exam. That means 3 candidates will be invited for 1 vacancy. In this Exam Minimum 45% marks will be Required to qualify for mains for UR/OBC Candidates on the other hand for SC/ST Candidates, it is necessary to get minimum 40% marks marks.

Prelims Exam’s score will not be added on Final merit List. 

Mains Exam Syllabus

This exam will be conducted on CBT. (Computer Based Test)  The Exam will be conducted one or More shift by District Courts. Total 100 questions will be asked in Mains Exam.  You can read following details mentioned in below section. 

Note: In Mains Exam

  • Candidates are not allowed to bring their own Key Board.
  • All Candidates have to do in Hindi Typing REMINGTON GAIL.

1. Stenographer Grade II & III (Court Manager Staff)

Subject
Hindi Stenography Dictation of 400 words + Transcription/ Typing
Total Marks 100
 Time 5+30= 35 minutes

 2. Assistant Grade III

Subject
Hindi Typing (350 words approx) & Direct Dictation Typing (400 words approx)
Marks 30+70= 100
Time 10+10= 20 minutes

3. Assistant Grade III (English Knowing)

Subject
English Stenography Dictation of (400 words approx) + Transcription/ Typing
Marks 100
Time 5+30= 35 minutes
