Fellow and Project Fellow positions at IISER Bhopal, India.

Information:-Applications are invited from highly motivated and team-oriented young candidates for Max
Planck Partner Group’s (i) Junior Reseach Fellow (MP-PG JRF) and (ii) Project Fellow (MPPG
PF) positions at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences (EES), Indian
Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal.

Name of the Post:-JRF and Project fellows.

Salary:-JRF- Rs. 25,000/-

Project fellows-Rs. 20,000/-

No of the Post:-One JRF and Three Project Fellows.

Qualification:-Candidates should have Master (M.Sc./M.Tech.) degrees in any of the disciplines of Atmospheric Science, Geophysics, Oceanography, Environmental Science, Physics, Mathematics, and Chemical-, Environmental-, and Computer- Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution with a minimum of:
(i) For Junior Research Fellow (MPG-JRF):-60% marks or CGPA/CPI of 7.0 on a 10 point scale (overall percentage/CGPA/CPI; not only in a  majoring subject). In addition to minimum qualification, a National qualifying level examination like National Eligibility Test (NET)/JRF/INSPIREPh.D./GATE/Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship or any other Fellowship is mandatory. However, candidate having M.Tech. a  Degree is exempted from this.
(ii) For Project Assistant (MPG-PF):- 60% marks or CGPA/CPI of 7.0 on a 10 point scale (overall percentage/CGPA/CPI; not only in a  majoring subject). Candidates with valid GATE/UGC/CSIR/INSPIRE will be preferred.

Desirable:-Candidates who have a strong aptitude towards pursuing Ph.D. will be preferred.
