Technical Assistant-cum-Programmer (Information Technology Cell)

Pay scale ( वेतन ) : Pay Matrix of Rs.39,900- Rs.1,26,600 (Pre-revised Pay Scale of Rs.9300-Rs.34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4400/-),
Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : B.E. / B.Tech. with Computer Science or Information Technology with 60% Marks. OR MCA with 60% Marks.
Experience requirements ( अनुभव ) : Minimum 1 Year experience in the Central Government or State Government or Government Organization or Public Sector Undertaking or Reputed Organization / Company.
No of vacancies ( रिक्तियों की संख्या ) : 04
Age limit ( आयु सीमा ) : Shall not be less than 18 years and not more than 35 years

How to apply ( आवेदन कैसे करे ) : Before filling-up the ‘On-line Application’, Candidate is advised to thoroughly read and understand the Detailed Advertisement and the Instructions therein and should ensure that he/she fulfills all the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned above and that the particulars filled-in by him/her are true and correct in all respects
General instructions ( सामान्य निर्देश ) : (a) General Candidate(s) born before 15/02/1983 & the Candidates belonging to Reserved Categories (ST/SEBC/PH (only Orthopedically disabled)/Ex-Serviceman), and Candidates working in Subordinate Court & any other High Court born before 15/02/1978, as the case may be, shall not be eligible to apply. (b) Benefit(s) of Relaxation in Upper Age Limit / Examination Fees / Reservation shall be granted to the Candidates belonging to Reserved Categories i.e. SC/ST/SEBC (PH) (only Orthopedically disabled)/ Ex-Servicemen, provided that requisite Certificate in respect thereof, issued by the Competent Authority, is provided by the Candidate as and when called for. The final decision, as to the suitability of a Candidate, for the Post, shall rest with the High Court.

About Gujarat High Court

The Gujarat High Court is the High Court of the state of Gujarat. It was established on 1 May 1960 under the Bombay Re-organisation Act, 1960 after the state split from Bombay State.

The seat of the court is Ahmedabad. The court has a sanctioned judge strength of 42.
This high court was established on 1 May 1960 as a result of bifurcation of the former State of Bombay into two States of Maharashtra and Gujarat. The High Court started functioning near Akashwani, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad. The High Court has later shifted to the new building at Sola, Ahmedabad, from 16 January 1999.
The Gujarat High Court has jurisdiction on entire state of Gujarat. It has jurisdiction on all district, administrative and other courts in Gujarat This high court is court of records and empowered to punish anyone for contempt of court.
Like Union Judiciary, the state judiciary also possesses wide powers, mainly power of judicial review. It also has power to issue various writs to courts and authority under its jurisdiction. It has power of superintendence on all courts under it.
The Chief Justice
The bench of high court is presided by Chief Justice. They are appointed by President of India under warrant. However, president is required to consult Governor of Gujarat and Chief Justice of India before making such appointment. Governor of Gujarat administers oath of office at time of appointment.
