Information: –Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL) is an Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Organisation, approved by DGCA (India) under Car 145, to undertake MRO activities in India. AIESL invites applications from Indian Nationals fulfilling the requirements as on 1st September 2018 to fill up the posts of “Aircraft Technician in Maintenance / Aircraft- Overhaul trade” from the open market on Fixed Term Employment (FTE) basis. The selected candidates will be posted at Delhi base of Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL, MRO) or any other station of AIESL/MRO as required by the Company. Selection and empanelment do not guarantee that the candidate will be appointed immediately. Vacancy Positions are tentative and may increase/decrease, depending upon the company’s requirement. A release of candidates from the panel would depend upon the requirement of AIESL and decision taken by the Company in this regard.

Emoluments: Emoluments will be as per approved salary structure for Technician and will be approximately Rs.20,000/- per month at the time of joining.
Eligibility Criteria: For all candidates other than Ex-servicemen: a) Diploma in Engineering (3 years) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent recognized by Central/State Government with 60% marks/equivalent
grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates). b) AME Diploma/Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering in Mechanical Trade from Institutions approved by DGCA under Rule 133B with 60% marks/equivalent grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates).Candidates from DGCA approved AME Training Institutes who are eligible, as per current list. c) For Ex-servicemen Successful completion of Group 1 related equivalent qualification of Diploma in Engineering for Airframe / Engine trades conducted by the Indian Air Force, which are acceptable as a qualification by DGCA for fulfilling the eligibility requirement for BAMEL examination.
(Or) Successful Completion of 4 years course/Diploma in Aircraft Training or its equivalent trade Training
conducted by Indian Navy, which is acceptable as a qualification by DGCA for fulfilling the eligibility
requirement for BAMEL examination
Experience. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE MINIMUM ONE YEAR AVIATION EXPERIENCE IN AIRCRAFT
MAINTENANCE. Or SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP IN THE CONCERNED TRADE IN AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE
Maximum Age Limit As on 1st September 2018. – General Category – 35 yrs OBC – 38 yrs. SC/ST – 40 yrs.In the case of the Ex-Servicemen-Upper age limit of 35 yrs. Would be relaxed to the extent the candidate has served in a regular post in Army /Navy /Air Force before retirement/release or discharge from such post plus three years.
Reservation and concessions/relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen candidate would be as per Government Directives in this regard.

(SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of this Fee).
General Instruction: –a) Management reserves all rights to take any decision with regard to this exercise.
b) Candidates found suitable and shortlisted will be engaged on a fixed-term contract basis for a period of 05 years.
The contract may be terminated at the discretion of the Management during the tenure of the contract and/or in
the event of unsatisfactory performance.
c) The contract is extendable for a further term of 5 years depending upon the satisfactory performance of the candidate
and requirement of the company.
d) After completion of training, candidates engaged on fixed-terms contract basis will be entitled to Provident Fund,
Gratuity, and ESI, if applicable, as per policy of the company.
e) The candidates will initially be positioned at DELHI until they obtain sufficient experience in the requirement of the
Company. The job is transferable to any station in India, based on the Company’s requirement.
f) The candidates will have to make their own arrangement for housing accommodation at the place of posting.
g) The Company, at its discretion, may assign additional duties, as and when required.
